If you are a successful affiliate, then accept my congratulations. If you answered a struggling one, do you know the reasons why you are still struggling? I think there is a majority of the struggling affiliates in the internet marketing world. There are few who are making millions and a large number even trying to get the break through.

9. Shares his learning with others to help others! This may not apply to all the successful affiliates but good affiliates always look for opportunity to give back to the community.

10. Last but not the least, keeps the affiliate marketing as a business and runs the campaigns as a business.

1. Jumps to marketing than spending time on planning. If he plans, then he does not visit that plan often.

2. Looks for places to get the new ideas or products free but this is understandable because he is a struggling affiliate and he needs to save money. But when you pay money, it hurts you and you try to get more out of that product. So paying money for good products is always advisable.

3. Loses the focus and keeps spending time on those aspects where he should not be spending that much time.

4. Becomes part of the whirlwind because he is always trying to survive!

5. Sometimes it is difficult for the struggling affiliates to keep checking the market as they keep fighting for their survival.

6. Moves from one product to another one very quickly.

7. Keeps buying product after product in search of a magic solution!

I think we all have part of both successful affiliate as well as struggling ones. Some of us have higher percentage of struggling affiliate characteristics and that could be the reason why some of us do fail in affiliate marketing.

I don't your situation but what I do know that if you pay attention to the characteristics of successful affiliates, you will benefit a lot just by modeling that behavior.
